Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional team member to join our Client Advisory Service team at Weinlander Fitzhugh. As a professional team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and complete financial records for clients using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Accounting CS).

Prepare general ledger account reconciliation, including but not limited to bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.

Generate financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets) as needed.

Assist with payroll processing and prepare related tax filings.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and principles.

Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve financial discrepancies.

Support management with various accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a professional team member or in a similar role.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent education (required).
