Washington-Morgan Community Action has an opening for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team!

[Hours and Pay]{.underline}

Monday-Friday 40 hours/week. 8 am-4:30 pm

$16.50/hour (Additional compensation based on experience). Comprehensive benefit package.

[Key Responsibilities]{.underline}

Documents requests for repair and other work on an order establishing priorities based on urgency.

Determines, in consultation with Director, when outside services must be utilized & arranges for same. Inspects work when completed.

Performs routine maintenance and repairs involving basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, heating & air conditioning skills and training for all owned and maintained properties of this Agency

Will perform mechanical maintenance or assist mechanic on an as needed basis

Will perform other tasks as assigned such as painting, assembling, groundskeeping, moving furniture and records, etc.

[Qualifications]{.underline}

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Some construction experience (preferred)

Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
