Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forge Press Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role in a hot forging environment.

No prior forging experience is required --- we will train.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who want steady, long-term employment in manufacturing.

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Monday--Friday, 6:00 AM--2:00 PM

(Some mandatory Saturdays)

Starting Pay: $24.00 per hour

(Opportunities to earn additional income through piecework)

Probationary Period: 60 days

Work Environment (Important)

Loud, hot forging environment

Handling hot steel forgings (1,600--2,100 F) using tongs

Parts typically weigh 20--60 lbs

Standing and physical work for the full shift

Required PPE: hand, eye, and hearing protection

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality forgings that meet customer specifications

Operate forging presses, hammers, upsetters, trimmers, and induction units

Handle and move hot forgings safely

Record lot and heat codes accurately

Transport materials using tow motors

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned to support production and quality goals

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to consistently lift 15--50 lbs and occasionally up to 60 lbs

Comfortable working in a hot, loud, and fast-paced environment

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and random drug testing

No prior forging experience required --- training provided

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in:

Manufacturing or manual labor

Construction or assembly

Steel grinding, forging, casting, or press operations

Physically demanding work

Training
