Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a experience with various financial software. This role is essential in maintaining accurate billing records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely collections. The Billing Clerk will work closely with other departments to support financial operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization.

Duties

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in billing and collections.

Prepare and process invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Enter bills into bill paying software bill.com

Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

Conduct analysis of billing data to identify discrepancies or issues, providing solutions as needed.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payment issues.

Collaborate with team members on revenue cycle management initiatives to optimize collections.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Execute data entry tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.

Assist in payment posting

Experience

Proven experience in billing or bookkeeping rolls,

Excellent math skills with an emphasis on debits and credits management.

Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks.

Experiance with excell required

Previous experience in medical collection is a plus but not required.

Previous medical payment postin experience a plus but not required
