Job Summary: The Finance Clerks primary responsibility is to assist in the Finance office through a variety of duties and to provide back-up coverage as needed.

Specific Duties:

Input completed Volunteer vouchers to include digital and paper vouchers.

Maintain an electronic filing system of all processed volunteer vouchers. Alphabetize and file assignment id sheets and maps.

Assist in preparing FIDELIS billing spreadsheet

Track and monitor paper vouchers required for billing. Scan and file completed vouchers, maintain a tracking spreadsheet, and contact volunteers by mail or phone when needed.

Assist in issuing checks to Volunteer Drivers; preparing checks for mail.

Complete MAS destination reports once attesting is complete.

Attest to completed Medicaid transports utilizing MAS, SNAP and submitted vouchers from drivers.

Complete billing adjustment sheets for Medicaid transports as needed.

Assist with pulling and organizing documentation required for audits.

Answer incoming phone lines; receive appointment information; handle issues with transportation.

Provide back-up coverage as needed in the Finance office.

All other duties assigned by the Finance Director or Billing Manager considered necessary for the operation of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications: A combination of education and work experience that demonstrates the ability to carry out job duties as described. An Associates Degree and two (2) years of work experience is preferable. Must have excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Must be well-organized, able to work independently and able to meet deadlines. Must be able to perform well under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
