Job Summary:

VirtuColor Supply is seeking a reliable and detail oriented assistant to lead the daily finance operations of our retail paint store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently in a small business environment, is well organized, and likes running by the numbers. This position will mainly focus on accounting duties using QuickBooks, and will also include some day-to-day office tasks such as ordering supplies, paying bills, and reviewing invoices. This role reports to the store owner.

Compensation:

Starting Pay: $25.00/hour

Benefits: Major holidays off.

Schedule: Part-time; flexible schedule, can work mornings or afternoons during weekday shifts from 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting

Process accounts payable/receivable, budgets, and financial reports with QuickBooks.

AR, add new terms accounts, conduct credit checks, credit applications, ensure payments are received on time.

AP, schedule vendor payments,

Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet preparation and review

Upload monthly statements for reconciliation

Reconcile cash drawer balance at the end of the day

Office duties

Manage quoting & purchasing for shop and office supplies

Organize and maintain filing systems to ensure easy access to important documents.

Pay bills, review invoices for accuracy,
