Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 15 -- 35 per week. 32 hours is fulltime.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.

Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed.

Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and monitor for side effects.

Perform vital sign checks and report any changes in health status to family members or healthcare professionals.

Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.

Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members regarding client needs and progress.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care, nursing home, group home, or memory care settings is preferred.

Familiarity with medication administration practices and vital sign monitoring is essential.

Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.

Must have reliable transportation with auto insurance and registration in employees name required to take clients shopping, errands, appointments, etc.
