Job brief

This role will assist with warehouse operations. The Warehouse Attendant role includes handling inventory

transactions, receiving inbound purchases, assisting with recycling, loading and unloading materials and

supplies, cleaning and maintaining the warehouse. While working in these tasks, position reports to Solutions

and Fulfillment Manager.

Responsibilities

? Reports to the warehouse gathering and loading materials and supplies for the day.

? Utilizes google email, calendar, drive, Netsuite, and various other software programs in order to support the

installation crew with their projects

? Loading, unloading, preparing and assisting with materials, including but not limited to the following; LED

tubes and drivers, interior and exterior LED fixtures and retrofit kits, LED exit signs, occupancy sensors,

photocells, weather stripping, refrigeration motors and controls, cooler lights, etc.

? Entering pick ticket/shipments into inventory system (Netsuite) when material is used on a job

? Entering returns into inventory system (Netsuite) when material is returned from a job

? Receiving purchases via the warehouse loading dock and arranging pallets in an organized manner

? Entering receipts of shipments into inventory System (Netsuite)

? Assist in the preparation of the monthly counts of inventory in warehouse and review counts with Solutions

and Fulfillment Manager

? Unloading vans of extra materials, scrap, waste or misc. materials and supplies, and/or returning items to

the warehouse at the end of day

? Completing preparation steps in order to recycle materials including wire stripping, separating materials by

@type, loading items into bins, etc.

? Garbage collection, Bulb recycling, interior and exterior cleaning

? Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

? Previous work experience that shows reliability and skills applicable to this role

? Will be required to complete OSHA10 course within 5 days

? Expected work location warehouse and other various locations, throughout the Northern IL area

? Expected working conditions Able to work in environment that has hot/cold temps, loud noises, dust (ear

plugs/masks provided)

? Travel requirements Expected to travel to various worksites

? Utilize appropriate PPE in the workplace

? Working Conditions:

Preferred Qualifications

? Possess a current Drivers License and have reliable and insured vehicle to transport materials and supplies

to various job sites throughout Northern IL

? Clean driving record to be approved by insurance carrierminor violations OK.

? Skilled with hand tools; screwdriver, pliers, wire strippers and small power tools

? Valid forklift license or be able to complete training and obtain license within 30 days of hire

? Passion for energy efficiency a basic understanding of Verdes mission to achieve energy savings and install

sustainable solutions

Salary & Benefits

Salary range \$19.00 per hour, 30 hours expected weekly, hours will vary and may be inconsistent based on

projects. FLSA non-exempt

? Mileage in excess of commute will be reimbursed within 2 weeks of approval of expense reports

? 8 Paid Holidays & eligible for PTO benefits in accordance with the Chicago Leave ordinance
