We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The ACT Nurse provide nursing services and support clients in the development of skills and behaviors to fully integrate into the community. This position is full-time, 1st shift with rotating on-call responsibility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Deliver nursing services, case management services and supportive counseling

Provide medication monitoring, administration, and education

Review laboratory values and report to team prescriber

Evaluate physical health and make appropriate referrals

Teach independent living skills and establish access to community services

Assist clients in establishing support networks in the community and assessing individual daily needs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a minimum of six months of psychiatric nursing experience

A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa

ANCC certification as a Generalist in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing desired

A valid driver's license with a driving record that will allow insurability

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screen
