Position Summary

The High Worker is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and high access

cleaning tasks within church meetinghouses. This includes work at elevated heights such

as ceilings, light fixtures, and structural elements using ladders and lifts.

This role plays a key part in ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and in excellent condition

for congregations and the surrounding community. The position requires regular travel to

multiple locations across the Wasatch Front and the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high dusting, cleaning, and detailing of ceilings, vents, beams, and other

elevated surfaces

Replace and maintain lighting (relamping) in high-access areas

Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment safely and efficiently

Conduct minor maintenance and repair tasks as needed

Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards

Travel to assigned job sites and complete work within scheduled timelines

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and equipment

Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job progress and needs

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations)

Comfortable working at heights and using ladders/lifts

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, extended standing)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Midwest

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial services, or construction

Experience operating lift equipment (scissor lifts, boom lifts)

Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge (helpful for relamping and minor repairs)

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors at church facilities

Regular use of ladders and mechanical lifts

Frequent travel, including overnight stays

Physical activity including climbing, lifting, and repetitive motion
