Job description:

Vandalia Blacktop & Sealcoating, Inc., a reputable commercial and residential asphalt contractor serving the Miami Valley for the past 49 years. Vandalia Blacktop & Sealcoating, Inc. is currently seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities:

Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, correspondence, and emails.

Typing of all estimate requests and proposals within software.

Maintaining the accuracy of electronic filing system and conducting a year-end audit on all electronic files.

Maintaining confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Providing assistance with administrative duties that support office staff, including light house-keeping.

The responsibilities mentioned above are ongoing throughout the year, with certain tasks being seasonal. Tasks are not limited to the above list, and may vary depending on time of year due to business needs.

Required

Valid Driver License

Satisfactory Background Check

Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds

QuickBooks experience (1 year preferred)

Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities

Professional telephone communication skills

Strong focus on accuracy and precision

Utmost importance on maintaining confidentiality

Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
