Valley Banks of Ronan is seeking a friendly, dependable, customer-focused Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will play a key role in creating positive customer experiences by processing financial transactions accurately, providing exceptional service, and building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to delivering professional service while supporting the daily operations of the branch.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt, and professional service

Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately

Balance and maintain a cash drawer while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures

Assist customers with account inquiries and basic banking services

Identify customer needs and refer appropriate bank products and services

Resolve customer concerns in a courteous and professional manner

Maintain confidentiality and safeguard customer information

Support branch operations and work collaboratively with team members

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming banking environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous customer service, cash handling, or banking experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to attendance

Basic computer and data entry skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
