Oversee and direct Cable Installation Technicians who are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems for television, internet, and telephony services. Specific duties include: Supervising and scheduling technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards; Providing guidance, assigning tasks, and addressing technical questions related to telecommunications and low-voltage wiring; Conducting performance reviews, training, and disciplinary actions as needed; Overseeing cable installation, equipment setup, and troubleshooting, as well as operational support for systems hardware, peripherals, and infrastructure within data centers or similar facilities; Monitoring signal levels, inspecting telecommunications lines; Maintaining detailed documentation of infrastructure inventory, rack elevations, cross-connects, and circuit audits; Performing rack-and-stack processes, troubleshooting, and decommissioning servers and related equipment in compliance with industry standards; Resolving escalated technical and customer service issues; Coordinating installations and service changes, maintaining accurate records, and updating customer accounts; Promoting customer satisfaction through education, communication, and issue resolution; Implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with company policies; Analyzing performance metrics and preparing reports on team productivity and service outcomes. Up to 100% of local travel required to clients within company service area.

Minimum Requirements: High School or GED and 2 years of experience in cable installation, telecommunications, or a related field.

Specific experience: Must have experience in each of the following: 1) Working with telecommunications and low-voltage wiring. 2) Providing operational support for systems hardware, peripherals, and infrastructure within data centers or similar facilities. 3) Maintaining detailed documentation of infrastructure inventory, rack elevations, cross-connects, and circuit audits. 4) Performing rack-and-stack processes, troubleshooting, and decommissioning servers and related equipment in compliance with industry standards. Up to 100% of local travel required to clients within the company service area.
