POSITION:

Family Advocate

DUTIES:

The Family Advocate will provide advocacy for children and some adults who

have experienced sexual abuse, sexual assault, extreme physical abuse and/or neglect, or who have witnessed a crime.

variety of fields (law enforcement, social services, medical professionals, other advocacy systems, etc.), while providing vital advocacy support to people who have experienced the above mentioned victimizati

REQUIREMENTS:

This position offers the opportunity to develop and facilitate working

relationships with community partners such as law enforcement, child welfare, the district attorney's office and more in the best interest of the client served.

This position does require a BA in a sociology, psychology or related

field or 3 years experience.

WAGE:

$36,500 and can be negotiated based on education and experience.
