What You'll Do:

Provide support to our sister company Eighty-Eight Oil LLC.

Enter data into accounting systems.

Input journal entries.

Perform account reconciliations.

Performstransactional accounting entries.

Prepare routine reports i.e. sales tax.

Validate data against system reports.

Verify that controls and processes have been followed.

Ensure all entries are adequately supported, as per procedures.

Work with operations, other shared services, and other stakeholders to problem solve.

Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes to ensure all relevant data has been captured in appropriate time period.

Participate in other projects assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities**

An associate's degree in accounting and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Basic accounting knowledge; debits and credits.

Basic fixed assets understanding.

Ability to read professional documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails).

Ability to correspond in an informative and professional manner.

Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators.

Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Oil and gas experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

English language fluency, verbal and written.

Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
