Job Duties:

Give instructions and education to employees so they can perform their work satisfactorily.

Responsible for all material flow through department.

Cooperate with other department supervisors in order for entire operation to run smoothly.

Communicate effectively with other departments, such as maintenance, when problems arise that require their expertise.

Initiating action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and/or quality system, up to and including when necessary stopping production to correct quality problems.

Change and set molds per production schedule.

Load and unload dryers with resin per production schedule.

Start up presses to produce parts that meet customer quality requirements.

Troubleshoot defective parts by adjusting the correct process parameters.

Program and adjust robots to retrieve parts from the mold, cut off the runner properly and deliver to the operator.

Use tow motor to retrieve resin from shelves.

Ensure there is always material loaded for presses that are running during the shift.

Use overhead crane to move and set molds.

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Specific Training: Injection Molding, Tooling and Robots

Specific Knowledge: Computer helpful

Specific Experience: Injection Molding (1 yr.)

Specific Skills: Mechanically inclined

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs.
