Seasonal Full-Time Position with Opportunity for Permanent Full-Time Employment

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a seasonal full-time position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role based on performance and business needs.

As a Cashier / Customer Service Representative, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing ticket sales, handling cash and credit card transactions, and assisting guests with questions about our facility and the island of St. Thomas. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and transactions.

Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to walk and climb multiple flights of stairs throughout the workday.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays, especially during peak tourism seasons.

Ability to speak a second language is a plus, but not a requirement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.

Sell tram tickets using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.

Balance and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.

Answer guest questions regarding ticket options, pricing, operating hours, attractions, and the island of St. Thomas.

Exchange cruise ship tickets for wristbands when applicable.

Assist guests with directions, transportation information, and general inquiries.

Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked cashier area.

Assist with crowd management and guest flow during busy periods.

Follow company policies regarding cash handling, security, and customer service.

Count wristbands at the beginning and end of each shift.
