Fitter / Fabricator -- Industrial Shop

TradeWorX is hiring Welders and Fitters for a long-term opportunity at an established manufacturing facility in Lower Burrell, PA, supporting industrial fabrication and ASME-regulated pressure equipment. This role offers steady work, consistent overtime, and a clear path to permanent employment for fitters with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

Pay & Schedule

$20.00 -- $27.50/hour (based on experience and interview performance)

40+ hours per week with overtime available

2nd Shift (Mon--Fri): 3:00 PM -- 1:00 AM

Weekend Shift (Fri--Sun): 12-hour shifts

Temp-to-Perm after 720 hours

Structured manufacturing shop

ASME-regulated fabrication

Pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers

Consistent production backlog and steady workflow

Job Responsibilities

Industrial fit-up and layout work

Reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings

Measuring, aligning, and fitting components to print

Securing components and performing tack welds

Cutting, grinding, beveling, and trimming materials

Verifying fit-up and alignment prior to final welding

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For

Fitter or heavy fabrication experience

Industrial fit-up background (pipe, tanks, structural steel, skids, or similar)

Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

Proficient with measuring tools

Comfortable performing tack welds

Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum

Ability to work 2nd shift or weekends

Reliable transportation

Pressure vessel or heat exchanger experience is a plus, but not required for candidates with strong industrial fitting fundamentals.
