Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description:

Responsibilities:

Process and enter vendor invoices and bills into QuickBooks

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy

Ensure timely and accurate payment of all approved invoices

Maintain organized records of all transactions and supporting documents

Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries

Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable

Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payments and discrepancies

Perform other administrative tasks and accounting support as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role

Proficiency in QuickBooks is required

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus
