DESCRIPTION:

Barback pay rate $8/hr plus tip pool distribution

Position Overview The Barback supports bartenders by keeping the bar stocked, clean, and running smoothly throughout service. This role is essential for maintaining speed, efficiency, and guest satisfaction during busy shifts. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to anticipate the needs of the bar team.

Key Responsibilities

Restock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, and glassware throughout service

Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including wiping surfaces and removing trash

Assist bartenders with basic prep: cutting garnishes, batching mixers, labeling, and storage

Keep ice wells full and ensure all bar stations remain stocked

Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning

Run dishes and glassware to/from the dish station as needed

Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management

Follow all NC ABC regulations, safety standards, and sanitation procedures

Provide general support during highvolume periods to keep service flowing smoothly

Qualifications

Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Strong work ethic and ability to stay organized under pressure

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Teamoriented, reliable, and eager to learn bar operations
