Job description:

All of the positions at Tonys Seafood require that employees demonstrate excellent customer service and process customer orders accurately. Duties

Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling products and answering inquiries.

Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.

Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or quick service and fast-food restaurant preferred.

Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.

Physical Requirements:

Employees are required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, handle food and cooking/serving utensils, and work in walk-in coolers and freezers, as well as a hot kitchen environment, and some jobs require lifting loads of up to 50 pounds.

Experience:

Cooking: 5 year (Preferred)

Restaurant Experience: 5 year (Preferred)
