Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the dental environment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Take dental X-rays and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required in various procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans while providing compassionate support.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments, demonstrating competency in dental receptionist duties.
Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction, particularly in pediatric dentistry and endodontics cases.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant of 2+ years is required.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential.
Proficiency in using dental equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to patients.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks effectively.
State license as a Registered Dental Assistant is mandatory.
