Entry Level Roof Mechanic

Position Summary: To provide safe tear off and efficient installation and/or repair of roofs, roofing material, and other material used in projects.

Job Functions: Learn @types of roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories. Observes all safety rules, including proper usage of PPE. Can learn to complete all tasks associated with one or more roofing systems, including PVC, TPO, EPDM, MOD BIT, BUR, and asphalt. Works under general supervision, receiving assignments in the form of work orders, inspection reports, or verbal instructions. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills; Experience (Essential): High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to have transportation to our jobsites. One or more years of construction experience preferred.

Working Conditions: Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature. Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds

Travel: Occasional Hours: Subject to overtime
