Tidewater Logistics is looking for organized and conscientious individuals to work in our rail yard operation in Steubenville, OH. We are looking for team players who will be responsible for Safety, Quality, & Operations pertaining to moving rail cars at our 100 acre facility.

**PAY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES and QUALIFICATIONS:**

Able to follow and update a track list.

Identifying the tracks in the yard, their lengths, and capacities

Manipulate switches for correct track alignment.

Awareness of correct number of cars that fit on each track

As conductor giving correct direction to Engineer

Operation of Locomotive

Mechanically inclined and can make small equipment adjustments

Responsible for your safety and that of your crew

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Class 1 or Shortline rail experience

Experience loading or unloading railcars

Experience with railcar or track maintenance

Ability to conduct or operate an locomotive

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (including strong Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook and internet research skills.

Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

High School Diploma/ GED; Degree, Certification, or other relevant training is a plus.

Lift 50lbs and handle physical work.

Valid driver's license.
