Under general supervision of the CEO & Executive Director, oversees and maintains financial accounting systems, including accounts payable, general ledger, account receivable, cash disbursements, financial statements, investments and tax information of The Wellness Plan Medical Centers (TWPMC). Must be willing to travel to all TWPMC medical sites and throughout the organization's service area, the State and various other states. Additionally:

Participates in the development and administration of policies on finance, accounting, insurance, internal controls, budget, auditing, and investments.

Acts as a liaison with outside auditors Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the centers to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate and conservation of assets.

Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements Timely filing of all tax returns local, state and federal returns.

Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and departmental profit and loss accounts.

Establish competitive pricing for newly implemented procedures and review all contracts for potential financial risks.

Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, ledger, account maintenance, data entry and delivery of billing, general accounting and patient accounting services.

Prepare Medicaid/Medicare cost and grant financial reports; Develop annual budgets, federal grant, private foundation and sub-contracted services.

Coordinate Finance annual audit activities include those undertaken by independent auditors and other third-party auditor agencies.

Oversee timely completion and filing of UDS reports, surveys and other informational requests from third-party payers.

Perform financial analysis of capital budgets, proposed projects, equipment acquisition, contract and joint ventures including recommending alternatives and estimates of financial outcomes.
