Our client, an insurance defense firm is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their growing litigation practice. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting a small team of attorney's.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The salary range is between $50,000 - $70,000 based on education and experience.

It is a 37.5 work week.

Legal Administrative Assistant Duties:

Schedule depositions

Prepare, edit and format legal documents and correspondence

Coordinate mailings, deliveries, copy jobs and court (paper & electronic) filings where appropriate

Manage attorney calendars, email, phone calls and mail

Communicate with clients, vendors, courts, agencies and internal staff via telephone, email and in person

Prepare and submit expenses and invoices for payment and submit check requests as needed

Maintain client and firm files: open and closed files

Maintain databases with client records and documents

Assist with Trial preparations

Legal Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

5+ years of litigation experience

Appellate experience is desired

Associate's degree preferred

Excellent organizational skills

Strong computer, grammar and communication skills
