Medical Director (Psychiatry)

Lead clinical excellence and shape the future of behavioral health care

The Edinburg Center is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Director to provide psychiatric leadership across our programs, including PACT and outpatient services. This is a high-impact role combining clinical care, leadership, and program development.

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Care

Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management

Offer expert consultation for complex and crisis cases

Support high-quality, person-centered care across programs

Supervision & Team Leadership

Supervise psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and prescribers

Conduct evaluations and support staff development

Serve as clinical co-lead for the PACT team

Program Development & Strategy

Partner with executive leadership to design and grow clinical programs

Develop and implement agency-wide policies and protocols

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Collaboration & Operations

Ensure adequate psychiatric coverage across programs

Lead trainings and participate in key committees

Collaborate with DMH and interdisciplinary teams

What You Are:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)

Active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license

Valid DEA & MA Controlled Substances Registration

Experience in clinical leadership and psychiatric care

Ability to work with electronic health records

On-Call

Provide after-hours consultation as needed
