The Black Stallion is a well-established restaurant in Vernon, NY, known for quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Position Details:

Schedule: Wednesday Sunday (4-day work week)

Must be available on weekends (every other Sunday off)

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station

Assist with prep work, line setup, and closing duties

Follow recipes, portion control, and food safety guidelines

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Prior cooking/line experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Respectful, team-oriented attitude

No formal education requirement (less than GED acceptable)
