Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing oversight and health related support to individuals receiving services through The Arc Chemung-Schuyler. This role focuses on promoting health and wellness, coordinating medical care, ensuring quality services and supporting individuals in a person-centered environment.

What You'll do

Monitor and support the health and wellness needs of individuals receiving services

Coordinate medical appointments, treatments and follow up care

provide nursing assessments and health related guidance

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, family and healthcare providers

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and nursing standards

Promote quality care and person-centered support

Assist with health education and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

Current New York State Registered Nursing license required

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

Preferred-Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience

Preferred-Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD)
