Description

The Arc Madison Cortland is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.Monday-Friday 8a-4p!

SUMMARY:Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel; Receives visitors and deliveries at the reception area. Provides administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Answers incoming telephone calls/voice mails, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department; Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.

Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel; Assures visitors sign-in; maintain records of visitor logs.

Creates and maintains Human Resources reports for biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.

Tracks job descriptions and other required documents for new hires, promotions and demotions.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED; one year telephone and/or office experience preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft office to include Word and Excel and web-based applications. Valid NYS Driver's License.
