We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Payment Poster to join our healthcare administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate recording of revenue streams within the practice management system. Key functions include processing insurance and patient payments, managing submission of claims, payments for drug financial assistance programs and identifying out of pocket amounts for the daily infusion schedules.

Responsibilities also encompass posting payments electronically and manually, balancing daily deposits, reconciling accounts, interpreting Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and ensuring timely identification and resolution of any payment discrepancies.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, medical billing and terminology.

Familiarity with medical collection processes and insurance reimbursement procedures.

Experience working with medical records and understanding of medical office workflows.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate posting and recordkeeping.

Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.

Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems is highly preferred.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to billing and coding standards is essential.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
