Description

Supervises and coordinates activities concerned with production by performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to the list below.

General Production

Confers with department leads to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from programming department or from customers.

Distributes work orders to mini companies, cells or special areas and proposes new completion date of units to be produced.

Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.

Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.

Creative Production

Supports the development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of an efficient and effective product development process, project management tools and techniques, and related documents.

Responsible to accelerate project plans, schedules, and communicated risk - including project status reporting.

Responsible to ensure that product development projects from concept development through initial production launch are successfully completed from cost, quality and schedule perspectives.

Work with a cross functional team comprised of product manager, internal and external designers, supply chain specialists, quality engineers, commercial team and engineering team.

Responsible for overseeing coordination of concept art and samples creation, securing approvals during the process and finalizing all product and packaging prior to launch.

Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and discipline employees.Directly supervisor employees in the area of production.
