Taylor Brothers Farms is currently looking to hire a full time Accounting Manager

Experience in AG Industry a plus

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will supervise the overall accounting for the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee Accounting, which includes financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll.

Implements or arranges training for new accounting hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.

Oversees the system of internal controls and procedures for accounting functions to minimize risk.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations (General Ledger, A/P, A/R, credit cards, bank reconciliations, etc.).

Supervise cash management activities.

Manages the financial close and reporting processes (For multiple entities): Monthly, quarterly and annual.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

Prepares quarterly and annual payroll reports (940, 941, DE-9, DE-9c, W-2s and 1099s)

Assists external CPA firm and provides required statements and information for the annual independent review.

Manage monthly inventory and values

Provides information as requested to the Companys tax preparer.

Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong management and supervisory skills.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

High level experience with Excel as well as QuickBooks Desktop accounting software.

Education and Experience:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting.
