Synthesize substantial sets of data on various companies and perform financial analyses and valuations. Create and manage complex financial models and perform valuation analysis using several methods, such as comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buy-out analysis, break-up analysis, and sum-of the-parts analysis. Find, analyze, and synthesize views of financial analysts and other market experts to prepare consensus projected financial statements for companies and estimated valuation. Spend substantial time researching recent and relevant financial transactions (mergers and financings) to develop views on merger valuations, synergies, and leverage characteristics. Conduct in-depth research on industries, companies, economies, markets and other matters relevant to the business, using internet-based tools such as CapIQ, Bloomberg, Thomson, SEC Filings, the Federal Communications Commissions online resources, and other relevant sources. Prepare, review, and tailor a wide range of client-facing materials, including investment memoranda, management presentations, confidential information memoranda, pitch decks, and board presentations. Prepare and oversee marketing deliverables for financings and sell-side processes, including investor presentations, diligence lists, investor lists, and pitch decks. Coordinate day-to-day execution of live transactions, serving as the key point of contact for deal teams to align internal teams, external advisors, and counterparties while driving process timelines and deliverables, including supervision of due diligence and management of data rooms. Review and contribute to transaction documentation, including engagement letters, term sheets, commitment papers, and fairness opinions, in coordination with legal counsel and senior bankers. In connection with any sell-side transactions, develop a list of potential investors/purchasers and research them to determine their likely interest, suitability, and ability to enter into a transaction with the firms client. Develop actionable strategic and financing ideas by leveraging sector insights, market trends, and precedent transactions to support origination efforts. Participate directly in client interactions, including meetings with management and shareholders, ensuring delivery of high-quality advice to senior executives and financial sponsors.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Finance, Business or similar field and 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or mergers & acquisitions. Alternatively, a Masters of Business Administration and 1 year of experience in investment banking, private equity or mergers & acquisitions.

Experience building and manipulating complex financial models, including three-statement models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

Proficiency in performing DCF (discounted cash flow) analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.

Proficient in stages of transaction execution including origination and diligence, and M&A transactions.

Knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
