POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant supports all plant departments by providing clerical and administrative support. The position also assists with human resources needs by providing administrative support in benefit enrollments, recruitment of hourly positions, hiring, and the onboarding process of new employees. This position reports to the Office Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides administrative support to site managers on an ad hoc basis.

Assist with the scheduling of temporary workforce.

Perform receptionist and office support functions for the plant.

Assist in the recruitment and screening of candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in an administrative support role.

High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Business or Administration Management preferred.

Ability to prioritize and work independently, detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills.

Strong multi-task expertise with the ability to stay focused.

Must exhibit patience, professionalism, and integrity, with the ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and trust; exhibit a professional customer service background.

Must have beginner knowledge of payroll software; intermediate knowledge of Office 365 software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Able to work in a manufacturing office and plant environments; may be hot, humid, and dusty

Position requires working varying shifts and weekends at times to support project execution requirements.
