Looking to be a valuable member of the Finance team for one of the nation's leading design-build firms? We are looking to add a Staff Accountant to be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions for all financial transactions of the company.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

Prepare closing journal entries for monthly financial process.

Update balance sheet work papers and schedules in support of monthly financial close.

Perform account reconciliations.

Analyze financial information to explain variances and interpret results.

Prepare semi-monthly personnel utilization reporting.

Prepare, chart and analyze division cost and profitability reporting.

Perform selected accounts receiving, payables, and reporting.

Provide inter-company billing services and reconciliation.

Assist with preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements for multiple companies.

Assist with coordinating divisional annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation.

Provide client assistance needed by auditors for quarterly and annual reviews.

Assist with special projects.

You'll be a perfect fit if you have:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Business Degree with concentration/minor in Accounting.

1 - 3 years of experience in an accounting role.

Ability to complete journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial statements and job order billing and costing.

Prior experience with QuickBooks, Deltek, or Sage Intacct is a plus.

Prior experience with accounting related to project-based revenue.

Have analytical aptitude.

Must be a self-starter, organized, adapt quickly to new tasks, and able to multi-task.

Strong communication skills.

Have meticulous attention to details and accuracy.

Compensation and benefits offering:

Pay: $70k - $100k yearly (based on experience).

Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm's performance, employee performance, and tenure).
