Tech I (Entry Level - Natural Gas)

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as shovels and pipe cutters.

Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling to support pipeline construction.

Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.

Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.

Ensure compliance with

DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards, including wearing proper PPE.

Assist in flagging and traffic control as needed for work zone safety.

Work as part of a crew under the direction of a foreman or supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, tools, and equipment.

Complete required documentation and reports as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

Ability to pass all Operator Qualification testing/certification required

Previous experience in construction, pipeline, or utility work preferred

Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction preferred

Strong work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills required

Valid Class D Chauffers Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR) required

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs

Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
