Title: Shipping

Classification: Hourly

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom. Package and ship boilers and service parts. Keep shipping area organized and quantities on hand updated.

FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED:

Receive and stock incoming freight

Package and ship service parts

Operate forklifts and overhead hoists

Must be able to complete all task in said department by the standard

time allowed

Handle supporting paperwork for these activities

Follow all safety requirements

Perform other related duties as required

Some data entry into computer systems

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to communicate verbally and in writing

Must be capable of following verbal and/or written instructions

Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds alone and 100 pounds with

assistance

Must be capable of large amounts of walking

Able to bend, stoop and squat

Ability to drive a forklift

Needs good mathematical skills

Must be able to read and understand a tape measure

Ability to organize and prioritize work functions to be completed
