GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintenance Associates report to the Maintenance Team Leader on their respective shift. Responsible for maintaining and improving necessary production related equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Troubleshoot and repair any machine maintenance problems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronics

Assist in training and development of associates

Maintain plant mechanical controls

Construct and maintain necessary production related equipment

Maintain maintenance work area

Maintain a safe work environment

Maintain good 5S

Work with production engineering to improve production processes

Any other duties as requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger dexterity

The Associate frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk and/or hear

The Associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance

The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within SRK-OH's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001 and ISO 14001

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of the job such as education, competencies, experience, knowledge and skills

This should include any specialized knowledge and expertise applicable to the job

High School Degree or GED or equivalent training and/or experience

Ability to work in a team environment
