Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary therapy team.

Description:

The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver quality care to patients in both long-term care and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patients' mobility, functional independence, and quality of life through rehabilitative treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients in long-term care and outpatient services.

Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the care plan, PT directives, and clinical best practices.

Monitor patient responses and report progress, concerns, and changes to the supervising PT.

Accurately document treatments and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on treatment goals, safe mobility techniques, and therapeutic exercises.

Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care and successful outpatient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas.

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Previous experience in long-term care and/or outpatient therapy preferred but not required.

Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

Schedule:Monday through Friday, hours flexible based on case load.

Settings:Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long-Term Care and Outpatient Clinic
