Job Summary:

The Restaurant at Stonefence is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who is looking to grow within the restaurant industry. In addition to preparing high-quality food, the successful candidate will have the potential for advancement into a management role.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, sandwiches, and soups, with speed and accuracy. Ensure all food is prepared to our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, with the potential for promotion to a management position.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook, with a strong understanding of quick-service food preparation. Proficiency in preparing burgers, sandwiches, and soups. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A positive attitude and a desire for professional growth. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Hourly wage: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Potential for advancement into a management role with increased compensation and responsibilities.
