Sky Ranch Golf Course is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. This position is part-time, with the opportunity to become full-time for the right individual who is willing to assist with grounds crew responsibilities as needed.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is the maintenance and repair of small engines and golf course maintenance equipment. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, work independently, and help keep our equipment running safely and efficiently throughout the season.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair small engines (gas and diesel)

Maintain and service golf course equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, etc.

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues

Maintain organized workspace and service records

Prioritize and manage workload to minimize equipment downtime

Qualifications

Experience with small engine repair (required)

Knowledge of golf course or turf equipment (preferred but not required)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong time management and organizational skills

Self-starter with a strong work ethic

Reliable and dependable
