Overview

This position provides direct support to the Customer Service Manager in the ongoing development and service of existing and prospective Spartan Tool customers.

Responsibility Highlights

Represent Spartan Tool in a positive and professional manner

Work with all company personnel and outside contacts to proactively satisfy existing customer service requests and needs

Work with Customer Service Manager and team to continually develop new customers and new markets

Order entry of all incoming orders

Handle all levels of interaction with customers via phone, email, live chat, and other communication channels

Develop quotes in cooperation with the Customer Service Manager on an as needed basis

Conduct research of ongoing customer needs

Perform routine follow up calls with current customers

Inside sales duties are performed accurately and with a sense of urgency, while keeping the needs and interest of the customer and Spartan Tool in mind

Collecting and reporting customer information and issues

Qualifications:**

1 to 3 years customer service or inside sales experience required

2 Year degree preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience working with an ERP system (Microsoft D365) preferred

Customer focused mindset and positive/reliable team member

Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery helpful

Superior organizational, analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking, written and verbal communications skills.
