This is general work in the field of youth career awareness, employment and training services. The work involves the coordination of services to youth with main emphasis on WIOA and TANF eligible youth as well as other grant funded programming. The work is performed under the direction of the President, Vice President, and Program Coordinator of the Agency.

Typical Examples of Work:

Assist in the recruitment, selection and enrollment of eeligible youth participants ages 14 - 24 in Greene County.

Provide potential applicants with an accurate description and understanding of SWTS Inc.'s youth program.

Maintain case management records and Data entry of youth services into the PA CareerLink system of record.

Assist with Job Development and placement of youth participants.

Assist in the implementation of any/all youth programs.

During the summer component, maintain a strong working relationship with Summer Youth Managers and Monitor

Assist in the development of work sites and maintain constant rapport with work site supervisors. Responsible for time-sheets, accident reports, and disciplinary action of youth participants.

Provide follow-up services with youth after exit.

Attend meetings, work groups, and conferences as required.

Assist with services in the designated PA CareerLink Career Resource Center.

Perform related work as required.

Job is from Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Basic knowledge of interviewing techniques, classroom instruction, and job development skills. Have access to a means of transportation, valid driver's license, safe driving record.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Education equivalent to the completion of an Associate Degree. Preferred - Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or related field. Any equivalent combination, or acceptable training and experience.
