Southern Ohio Adventures Recreations, LLC (S.O.A.R) was started for the purpose to serve adults with disabilities in Southeast Ohio. S.O.A.R.'s staff is dedicated to treating our individuals with the utmost respect and proving to them they are a valued member of society. We will strive to make a difference in their lives, as they do ours. Our staff has been hand selected for their strength in the art of working with disabled.

We are looking for people to work with our clients to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. As a direct service provider, you are responsible to provide support to individuals through assistance with activities of daily living such as:

Errands such as grocery shopping, laundry mat, banking transactions, etc.

Transporting to medical appointments

Enjoying recreational outings together

Preparing meals

Assisting with medication administration

Personal hygiene and grooming

Bathing and toileting

Assisting individuals to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Teaching strategies to live as independently as possible.

Position Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age

High School diploma or GED

Valid Ohio driver's license in good standing with auto insurance

Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks

We offer paid training for all staff, paid vacation after 6 months, 401k after 1 year, and medical insurance.

We are a 24/7/365 company, so we need help all shifts of the day! We will work around school schedules!
