Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our restaurant team. The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards

Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies

Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper sanitation practices

Follow all food safety and health regulations

Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management

Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and marinating

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively during service

Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30--50 pounds

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Work Schedule:

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation:

Hourly wage based on experience
