Job Duties:

Leading the design and delivery of enterprise BI solutions for mortgage sub-servicing by leveraging SSMS for complex SQL development and performance tuning to achieve data extraction, creating physical datamarts with incremental daily refresh and table indexing, stand up SQL views, and stored procedures for efficient data architecture and processing;

Managing SSIS for legacy and on-prem ETL workflows, and Databricks for scalable transformations and advanced analytics;

Partnering with IT for support on Microsoft Fabric for unified Lakehouse, data engineering, and analytics workload, as well as Azure Data Factory for cloud-based orchestration and ingestion;

Architecting and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for high volume servicing data, including loan boarding, payment processing, escrow, delinquency, loss mitigation, and foreclosure;

Developing and governing Power BI semantic models and advanced DAX measures for KPIs such as UPB, DQ buckets, roll rates, liquidation timelines, and investor reporting;

Delivering executive, operational, and regulatory reporting using Power BI and Power BI Report Builder, ensuring accuracy and audibility for both internal and external clients;

Implementing data quality, reconciliation, and performance optimization across SQL and Python-based transformations for investor, GSE, and compliance reporting;

Supporting self-service analytics and workflow automation through Power Apps, while mentoring analysts and introducing BI best practices;

Using ICE servicing systems, to conduct data mapping between system and data warehouse to create reference data dictionaries and acting as a point of contact for field and logic understanding and definitions;

Collaborating with other developers to create/maintain scalable processes and best practices;

Collaborating with other departments on timing and details of the development cycle;

Ensuring quality control best practices, seamless and scalable BI development lifecycle are followed;

Recommending and developing best practices for BI presentation layers, such as stand-alone reports, dashboards, and self-service/drill through tools; and

Managing/balancing workload and monitoring/managing efficiency and timeliness of deliveries.

Job Requirements:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related role working in a BI or IS production environment in the financial services or mortgage industry using Business Intelligence, IS, MIS, Microsoft SQL Server Tools, SSMS, SSIS, Power BI datasets and semantic models, Power BI Dax language, BI Report builder, SharePoint, Python, VBA, VBS, and ETL;

2 years of experience performing R programming, Automation, and Data Modeling; and

Company headquarters is located in Moon Township, PA, but telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the United States.
