Secure Components is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser, dedicated to buying Electronics to source and procure board-level electronic components, including semiconductors, microcircuits, resistors, capacitors, and connectors. This role involves identifying and negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electronics supply chain, market trends, and sourcing strategies within the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.

Purpose:

To effectively source, negotiate, and purchase electronic components and equipment to meet the organization's needs while ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and source from reliable electronic component suppliers.

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers.

Maintain and update supplier databases.

Purchasing Process:

Process purchase orders, requisitions, and change orders accurately and efficiently.

Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Resolve purchase order discrepancies and issues.

Cost Control:

Identify cost-saving opportunities through price negotiations, supplier consolidation, or alternative sourcing.

Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compliance:

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to purchasing.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of purchasing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong negotiation and communication skills
