focused approach in the legal areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Estate/Probate/Trust

Administration, Real Estate and Business Law is currently searching for a full-time paralegal/legal

assistant. Our office is specifically looking for an individual with high integrity, strong

administrative talents, preferably with at least one to three years of prior legal experience.

The paralegal/legal assistant will provide administrative support, monitor, and distribute incoming

information and manage calendars and schedules for multiple attorneys. Tasks include document

preparation, research and writing.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities and areas of focus:

Prepare and proofread documents for attorneys -- mainly focusing on probate and real estate.

Organize and manage confidential client information and office supplies.

Ensure timely flow of documents.

Distribute mail and prepare letters, email, memos and other correspondence.

Maintain calendar and appointments.

Perform other special projects as requested.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally -- both verbally and in writing.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills.

Responsible and dependable.

Willing to cross train on different @types of legal work.

Ability and willingness to take on any additional responsibilities to help the flow of the office.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.

Familiarity with Practice Master/TABS, Estate Assist or Qualia a plus
