Position Summary This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities and the preparation of interim and annual financial reports and tax returns for endowment funds, supporting foundations, and charitable trusts. The position also supports daily operations within the Accounting & Finance Department and contributes to special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare supporting workpapers, including analysis and related journal entries for daily accounting activities

Produce periodic financial reports for endowment funds, charitable trusts, and supporting foundations

Prepare reports for trustee presentations and internal quarterly bank reporting

Assist with year-end consolidation schedules and draft footnotes for the external audit

Complete monthly bank reconciliations and other assigned account reconciliations

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Ability to review accounting data, interpret financial reports, and record appropriate adjustments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting required

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

Some ERP experience (other than QuickBooks)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
